Your guide to mastering Ordis RPG!

Ordis RPG is an immersive role-playing game that allows players to engage in various activities, including quests, battles, and faction management. Players can earn rewards, level up, and interact with others in a vibrant community.

The game is set across the solar system, with each planet offering unique challenges, enemies, and rewards. Players progress through the game by completing missions, gathering resources, crafting items, and battling powerful foes.

There are plenty of ways to grow more powerful, here's a short guide on some things to try.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Level Without Battling: Sell fish to buy crystals, grow power before your first battle to ensure success!
  2. Invest To Success: Don't max your vault allowance. Leave at least 25% free, so your interest can do it's magic overnight and generate passive income!
  3. Save Your Solari: Don't buy Level Boosts on Mercury or Venus. Once you get to Earth leveling will happen much slower.
  4. Use Ordis+: No, it's not an upsell (kinda). You get shorter wait times, quicker crafting, cheaper skips, free factions, higher crate chances and way more!
  5. Stay Social: Other players may know some other Tips & Tricks, ask around and you might get lucky!

These are just a few of the many ways of progression, if you find any more feel free to share it with everyone else!

The first step to playing Ordis RPG is registering with the game using the /rpgregister command.

Prerequisites

Registration Process

When you use /rpgregister, the following happens:

  1. Your Discord ID is checked against the main Ordis system
  2. A new RPG profile is created for you
  3. You start on Mercury, the first planet in the solar system
  4. A starter pack is added to your inventory
  5. A personal vault is created for you with default settings

What You Get

After registration, you can start exploring planets, completing missions, and building your character's power.

Ordis RPG follows a planetary progression system where players unlock new planets as they level up and complete missions.

Planetary Progression

Each planet offers unique materials, enemies, and challenges that become progressively more difficult.

The core gameplay loop in Ordis RPG involves exploring planets, gathering resources, completing missions, and growing stronger.

Daily Activities

  1. Planet Exploration: Use /action commands to gather materials, hunt enemies, and fish
  2. Mission Progression: Complete step-by-step missions to unlock new planets
  3. Resource Management: Craft items, sell excess materials, and manage your inventory
  4. Character Growth: Level up with /levelup to increase power and health
  5. Social Interaction: Join or create factions with /faction

This cycle repeats as you progress through the solar system, facing increasingly challenging content.

The /action command is the primary way to explore planets and gather resources. There are five different actions you can take, each with its own risks and rewards.

Action Types

Gather (/action gather)

The safest action with guaranteed rewards. You collect materials from the safe parts of the planet without encountering enemies.

Patrol (/action patrol)

A balanced action that offers more rewards than gathering but with some risk of enemy encounters.

Hunt (/action hunt)

A high-risk, high-reward action focused on combat encounters with enemies.

Fish (/action fish)

A peaceful action that allows you to catch fish for quick credits.

Boss (/action boss)

The ultimate challenge that requires completing a mission step to unlock.

Action Mechanics

All actions take time to complete, during which you cannot start another action. You'll receive a DM notification when your action completes. Ordis+ subscribers get 50% reduction in action times.

Skip Options

You can spend Solari to skip action wait times:

Mission Progression

Different actions progress different mission steps. For example, gathering might be required for step 1, while hunting is required for step 3. Completing missions unlocks new planets and rewards.

The /levelup command allows you to increase your character's level when you have accumulated enough experience points (XP).

Leveling Requirements

Each level requires a specific amount of XP to achieve:

Leveling Benefits

Each time you level up, your character becomes more powerful:

Planet Unlocking

Certain levels are capped to planets:

Multi-Level Ups

If you have enough XP, you can level up multiple times in a single command usage. The system will automatically level you up as many times as your XP allows.

Earning XP

The primary way to earn XP is through the Hunt action (/action hunt), which grants XP based on the enemy's level range.

The /shop command allows you to buy and sell items using credits, the primary currency in Ordis RPG.

The /open command lets you open crates you’ve collected to receive materials, gear, or special items. Crates are themed by planet, so their contents scale as you explore further into the star map.

/open crate:id

Choose a crate from your inventory to open. The outcome depends on the crate type and planet tier.

Notes:

Best for: Adventurers who love the thrill of RNG loot and want to stockpile rare resources or snag high-tier gear.

The /party command lets you form or join groups to tackle dungeons, raids, or just play together more easily. Parties give you a private channel to coordinate with your team and last for a limited time before expiring.

Create a brand new party with a unique party ID. You’ll also get a temporary private channel to invite others and strategize. Parties expire automatically if not used.

/party join partyid:XXX-XXX-XXX

⚠️ Parties have a maximum capacity depending on whether the host is Ordis+ or not. If it’s full, you’ll need another invite.

/party leave

/party kick @user

Hosts can remove unwanted or inactive members from their party. This also revokes their access to the party’s private channel.
